Dr. Tarazona is a board-certified orthopaedic surgeon with advanced fellowship training in sports medicine and a special focus on arthroscopic joint preservation and regenerative therapies, including platelet-rich plasma (PRP) injections. He is dedicated to helping active individuals—athletes, fitness enthusiasts, and weekend warriors—recover from injuries and return to the activities they love.
After earning his medical degree from Florida State University, Dr. Tarazona completed his orthopaedic surgery residency at NYU Langone Hospital – Long Island, where he served as Chief Resident. He then pursued elite fellowship training at the world-renowned Cedars-Sinai Kerlan-Jobe Institute in Los Angeles, training under Drs. Neal ElAttrache and Michael Banffy. There, he gained extensive experience caring for professional athletes from the Los Angeles Rams, Dodgers, Angels, Galaxy, and Ducks.

Dr. Nick Sexton is a board-certified orthopaedic sports medicine surgeon with expertise in the arthroscopic treatment of shoulder and knee injuries. He also has a growing emphasis on regenerative orthobiologic therapies, including platelet-rich plasma (PRP) injections. Known for his patient-centered and practical approach, Dr. Sexton blends surgical expertise with biologic innovation to help patients heal and return to their active lives.
Originally from Joplin, Missouri, Dr. Sexton entered the University of Missouri – Kansas City School of Medicine’s accelerated 6-year BA/MD program right out of high school. During medical school, he joined the U.S. Army through the Health Professions Scholarship Program (HPSP), becoming a commissioned officer.
After graduating in 2003, he completed his orthopaedic residency at Tripler Army Medical Center in Honolulu, Hawaii, where he treated elite military personnel and developed advanced skills in sports injury care and minimally invasive joint procedures. He was later stationed at Ft. Wainwright near Fairbanks, Alaska, and deployed with Task Force 115th Combat Support Hospital to Afghanistan, gaining invaluable trauma experience during his time in Helmand Province.
After his military service, Dr. Sexton spent over a decade practicing in Roseburg, Oregon, where he served as a team physician for multiple high schools and Umpqua Community College. He continued to focus on joint preservation and soft tissue conditions in both athletic and active patient populations.
Dr. Sexton is board-certified in Orthopaedic Surgery with subspecialty certification in Orthopaedic Sports Medicine. He is a Fellow of the Arthroscopy Association of North America (FAANA), reflecting his expertise in arthroscopic techniques.

A native of Buffalo, NY, Dr. Sando graduated Summa Cum Laude from Canisius College with a degree in Chemistry and earned his medical degree from Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine, where he was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha (AOA) Honor Medical Society.
He completed his orthopaedic residency at the University of Maryland Medical Center and the R Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center, gaining extensive experience in sports injuries and complex trauma care. During residency, Dr. Sando worked with high school and collegiate athletes, including the University of Maryland Terrapins. He also led award-winning research in arthroscopic techniques for the shoulder and knee, earning international recognition.
To refine his skills, Dr. Sando completed a Sports Medicine Fellowship at the prestigious Kerlan-Jobe Orthopaedic Clinic in Los Angeles under Dr. Neal ElAttrache. There, he trained in minimally invasive joint preservation techniques and regenerative therapies. His work included assisting with the care of professional teams such as the Los Angeles Lakers, Kings, Dodgers, and Sparks.
